Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. In addition to BJJ training, she also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. Ladd recovered from the loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first fight as a bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to beat McGill in the third round of a TKO.
