Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. In addition to BJJ training, she also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. When she was 18 years old, Ladd had her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd was able to win three fights consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were finished within the first minute. Aspen returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's amateur career. Ladd recovered from the loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first fight as a bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to beat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd was unable to put on an appearance at the. Aspen, however, beat Hoy through TKO.
